Interpreting services are available for all providers through Blue Shield Promise Health Plan at no cost. An advance notice is needed for face-to-face and ASL interpreting services. To request services, contact Blue Shield Promise Health Plan Member Services at 1-800-544-0088, (TTY: 711), 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week.
You may receive services from any of the providers on the list that are affiliated with your PCP’s medical group. For some services, you may need a referral from your PCP.

You can get prescription drugs shipped to your home through our network mail order delivery program which is called "mail service pharmacy."
For refills of your mail order prescriptions, please contact us 14 days before you think the drugs you have on hand will run out to make sure your next order is shipped to you in time.
Typically, you should expect to receive your prescription drugs within 14 days from the time that the mail service pharmacy receives the order. If you do not receive your prescription drug(s) within this time, please contact us at 1-866-346-7200 or, for TTY users 711.
Specialty Pharmacies are available to all Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan members. Your physician may call or fax your prescription to one of the pharmacies listed below.

Residents of a long-term care facility may access their prescription drugs covered under Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan through the facility's long-term care pharmacy or another network long-term care pharmacy.
Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan has a process in place to assist you in obtaining prescription drugs when you are in a long-term care (LTC) facility. If you are in an LTC facility and are prescribed a non-formulary drug, we will authorize a one-time, 30-day supply of the medication prescribed for transition purposes.
If you are on a complicated medication regimen, or a regimen where safety concerns do not permit you to be transitioned sooner, up to a 6-month transitional period will be allowed. This transition period will also be allowed for patients with multiple medications and with multiple physicians providing care.

Only Native Americans and Alaska Natives have access to Indian Health Service / Tribal / Urban Indian Health Program (I/T/U) Pharmacies through Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan's pharmacy network. Those other than Native Americans and Alaskan Natives may be able to access these pharmacies under limited circumstances (e.g., emergencies).
